Today is Father's Day! It's a day to show Dad how much you love him. While I was wrapping my dad's present, I was thinking about his many good qualities.

What stood out was his disciplined work ethic. He is always busy working on the Town Crier, fixing something around the house, or keeping all our household records in order. He doesn't put things off until the last minute, but starts early and stays ahead.

This is a quality I don't have enough of. I can procrastinate and make excuses all day long. Basically, I'm a lazy bum!

I need to develop some discipline. So here's the deal: I am going to get up early every day this week and run a couple miles before I go to class. At the end of the week, I'll let you know how I did. Hopefully I won't be too embarrassed to share the results of this challenge!
